Abstract : The Supply Chain Management Program integrates topics from manufacturing operations, purchasing, transportation, and physical distribution into a unified program. Successful supply- chain management, then, coordinates and integrates all of these activities into a seamless process. It embraces and links all of the partners in the chain. In addition to the departments within the organization, these partners include vendors, carriers, third- party companies, and information systems providers. The main objectives of beneficial Supply chain management are to improve the overall organization performance and customer satisfaction by improving product or service delivery to consumer. Successful supply chain management requires cross-functional integration and marketing must play a critical role. The challenge is to determine how to successfully accomplish this integration. This paper discusses the research findings from the review of three institutions to help better understand to gain insights on the tangible benefits of better integration of SCM activities. The purpose of this article is to provide academics and practitioners a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the benefits to successful collaboration in strategic supply chains. The paper concludes by establishing a clear and focused future research territory informed by the case study findings.
