Integrated Billing and Employee Management System With E-Commerce Interface for Pharmacies
Abstract
This research work introduces a revolutionary web application, a unified billing management system tailored for
pharmacies. Existing pharmacy management systems often suffer from fragmented approaches, relying on separate software
for employee management and e-commerce functionalities, resulting in inefficiencies and increased operational costs. One
primary limitation of current systems lies in the laborious inventory management process. The proposed solution addresses
this by implementing an advanced search capability with multiple filters to rapidly identify medicines, ensuring accurate
prescription fulfillment. The system is designed to detect expired medicines, enhancing medication safety by preventing their
inclusion in customer orders. Furthermore, the web application incorporates advanced deep learning techniques for inventory
management, enabling manual input or image-based recognition. In conclusion, this research presents a transformative
solution for pharmacy management, effectively addressing the limitations of fragmented software. By unifying billing,
inventory, and customer interactions while leveraging deep learning for inventory updates, the application offers a secure
and efficient platform for pharmacies, promising a streamlined and enhanced future for pharmaceutical management.
